About Leigh Finch

Leigh Finch has a broad experience in large organisations in both the public and private sectors specialising in Observability design.

Equipped with a highly analytical working methodology and client satisfaction competencies, my 20+ years of experience revolutionises solutions to guarantee lasting impacts. Key to success are determination, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a strong desire to get results done and clients satisfied. I thrive on being an integral part of direction, mentorship and growth, driving ICT systems upward and new businesses to consistently hit the roof in its developmental targets. I am an effective innovator and initiator.

Leigh is a sought after commentator in the ICT conferences covering Observability, Cyber, and protocols. He has recently spoken at conferences including SX Singapore, MilCIS, and Sharkfest Asia. He also chairs round tables with CIO and CTOs with a focus on digital experience.

At the age of 21 he spent a year in China which spearheaded his love of Chinese cuisine and working across cultures. This has enabled him to excel in working across the APJ region and building relationships. He regularly travels to India and Singapore, but has also enjoyed time in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and the US for business.

He has spent about 10 years in Canberra working in the public and private sector and in 2015 moved to Tasmania to work remotely and be close to family. In 2022 he began his PhD journey (which has been a personal goal for many years) at UTS, looking at communications efficiency to create a more responsive Internet.
